The basics

Is your logo on file with us? If not, we must digitize it for embroidery. There is a ONE-TIME FEE to DIGITIZE YOUR LOGO.

Once your logo is stored in our system you can re-use it for other products we offer. If you would like others (students or clients) to be able to use your logo, please let us know when you send your artwork via email and they will not be charged.

Digitized logos can be manipulated within 20 percent of their size without compromising quality.

For example, a 12 x 12 inch file used for a stall guard or bandage holder could not be used on a left chest design—that would require a new digitized file in an additional size.

You do not have to pay digitizing fees for standard fonts or monograms that we offer. These are already embroidery fonts.

WHY A DIGITIZING FEE?

The difference between print and embroidery file types…now we’re getting technical!

Graphic files are generally .png, .jpg, .pdf in nature. Embroidery machines read special files that tell our machines what stitch to make, how dense to make it, and where to place knots and ties. We can use a .png, a .pdf, or a .jpg to create a stitch file, but it has to be done by human hands, it is not possible to simply “convert” it. If you have a stitch file from another project (and, to make it more confusing, different brands of machines read different types of files), you can send it to us (it must be a .dst or .pes file) and avoid the digitizing fee.

Existing Files

If you choose to send us a digitized version of your design, we do NOT guarantee the quality of the stitch out. Not all digitizing is the same in quality (the the different machines/brands). We use a professional digitizing service to convert your graphic into a quality stitch file, but there are many amateurs out there that do not do quality work or account for the different types of fabric and use that embroidery encompasses.

Note: when you send us a logo to digitize, you must own the right to reproduce the image or have permission to reproduce it. We cannot reproduce a trademarked or copyrighted image without the permission of the owner.
